Hello, my name is Elena Grodetskaya. I found my way into photography through interior design, as it turns out I don't only love exploring colour and form, but also capturing it in my photos! While choosing interior, it takes months to find the right combinations of textures and objects, but at the same time I am able to instantly see and capture a moment or a frame, and feel the same happiness. My photography work is structured the same way as the houses I design - assembled from parts, rooms, and shapes, all merging together to tell a story.
My projects are all very personal, they are inspired my family and close ones, from exploring the seemingly ordinary objects and shapes. I often find myself lost in the process of photography, sorting out pictures, assembling them into albums, as I try to give every work a part of my perspective and soul.
